About Me

My photo
I am a Dad to two beautiful girls and a husband to a very gorgeous wife. I am very proud of my family and the way they give me so much support. I guess I do not need to win the lottery, I have already won.

Well my oldest daughter is turning 16 on the 12th of October. I have been sitting back and thinking how time has flown by. It seems like it was just yesterday that we had her. I remember the night she was born and my wife was in labor all day long. She was a stubborn little thing and just did not want to come out. Then we found out she was turned the wrong way and they had to do a c section. She was born at 8:54 pm on a Wednesday night and it was nice because a lot of the youth group we were in charge of showed up to see her born. I never looked and felt so proud when I carried her out to show my little girl off. Now she has her drivers permit and ready to take her driving test for her license. I also started thinking about when I turned 16 and it was so long ago that I do not remember what I did on my 16th birthday. You know I thank the Lord for both my girls and that they are healthy and strong and if I don't watch myself they will pass me out in height and be looking down at me. So to my daughter Elizabeth I want to wish you a Happy Birthday. Well I guess the best way to end this is by asking what did you do when you turned 16?

Happy Birthday, Miss Elizabeth. And I wish that your day will be as special as you want it to be.

CS, to add one more gray hair to the old noggin I have two words for you...Driver's Licenses.

Sending a huge "Happy Birthday" wish to Elizabeth!

I cannot even remember turning 16! Oh yea...I skipped school and had a friend take me to get my license. He borrowed a '68'ish mustang from another friend...we got to the DMV and the horn didn't work on the car; needless to say I didn't get my DL that day!

I'm glad you're home to "enjoy" her birthday. I hope she's better than my sons were at 16 (well for that mater from the time they were 12 to 24, I wanted to send them away to boarding school.)

Happy belated birthday to your daughter! I don't remember what I did for my 16th birthday, either. Must not have been a big deal. We had a pig roast for our daughter's 16th two years ago.
