About Me

My photo
I am a Dad to two beautiful girls and a husband to a very gorgeous wife. I am very proud of my family and the way they give me so much support. I guess I do not need to win the lottery, I have already won.

IT'S BEEN A ROUGH YEAR

But not everyone is as lucky as I am........

The economy is so bad that I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.

I ordered a burger at McDonald's, and the kid asked, " Can you afford fries with that?"

CEO's are now playing miniature golf.

If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient funds" you have to call them and ask if they mean you or them.

Hot Wheels and Matchbox are trading higher then GM.

McDonald's is selling the 1/4 ouncer.

Parents in Beverly Hills and Malibu are firing their nannies and learning their children's names.

A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico.

Dick Cheney took his stockbroker hunting.

Motel six won't leave the light on anymore.

The Mafia is laying off judges.

BP Oil laid off 25 Congressman.

And Finally

I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, and our bleak future, that I called the Suicide Hot line and was connected to a call center in Pakistan. When I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

TIME IS WINDING DOWN.

They say time flies when you are having fun and time does go by fast when you are busy. Well we have approximately one week left and we have nothing to do. Time seemed to have stopped and the days are dragging by. I guess you could say we are looking forward to going home and that could be making time stop. It is like we are waiting on Christmas morning when we were kids and the closer it got the slower it came. I remember when I got called back into the army during Desert Storm One. Now here is the military thinking I got called back in in January 1991 and they sent me to Germany to train me for the desert. Now that is an oxymoron, but I said that to say this. We got to Germany and they said we will be here 2 weeks before going over to the desert. We started our training and the first week went by fast then the war ended and we sat around after that waiting to go home. I guess I just need to plan my days better. Right now my days consist of sleeping during the day and then I can't sleep at night, watching movies and eating. I guess I should be happy because our missions are over and we are staying on the FOB until we leave. I guess I am ready to be home and get back to a normal routine and see my family. I really miss them tremendously and they miss me. Well I guess I cannot rush the military when there motto is hurry up and wait. I will be home soon and I am very thankful that the time has finally come and we can leave. I want to thank the people that are following my blog, I am not the greatest writer in the world and I write about my feelings. Thanks for following and thanks for letting me follow your blog.
